CARE PLAN FAQs

No. Care Plan hours are allocated to the maintenance of your site’s core functions. There is a monthly allowance of 2 hours to make minor changes or additions to existing content. This allowance cannot be used for additional pages or functionality.

You can cancel your Care Plan after any agreed minimum term or contracted annual term. Note that I do not offer refunds on Care Plan payments.

Our monitoring tools should report website downtime when an outage is detected. However, if you note that your site is unavailable or a particular piece of the site is not working as expected. In that case, you should notify me immediately via the request system in your Client Portal.

We provide access to annual licencing (currently AUD$200 per year without a Care Plan) for an automated Policies tool for your website. From January 1, 2025, this tool will be included in all Care Plans. For more info, please watch this short video:

All Care Plans require time and financial investment to set up all of the necessary support mechanisms and functionality. Monthly Care Plans require a minimum 12-month commitment and have slightly higher costs due to the different requirements for setting up said plans. These plans also require a direct debit arrangement via my card processing partner, Square, using either a debit or credit card kept on file. Monthly invoicing is not available.

Annual Care Plans run from January 1 to December 31 each calendar year. When you sign up for an Annual Care Plan after January 1, your plan cost will be prorated based on the number of remaining days in the year using an average daily cost (for instance, you sign up on March 1st; your prorated Annual Care Plan cost would be the total number of days remaining in the calendar year inclusive of December 31 multiplied by the average daily cost of the Care Plan).
